Very friendly staff. They take time to establish rapport with animals. We have seen Dr. Hoppe and Dr. West and each took time to explain their recommendations. They do not recommend expensive tests unless needed. Highly recommend this practice.
The entire staff at Burlingame Family Pet Hospital is fantastic. Dr. Dorothy Hoppe is the best. She is not only a great doctor but takes the time to get to know not only your pet, but you. She listens, a rare quality among doctors of any type. The rest of the doctors are much the same. The administrative staff are always kind and helpful. I recommend this place highly.
Love the vets here! They are both very experienced and they definitely know not only how to examine your dog but also know how to handle and read them! My dog Lizzie is a little intense and looks scary sometimes… and when she barks you want to run away lol but she is a sweet girl. Both vets handle her as if they have known her forever. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this clinic!
Mr. KILLIAN BAYER is an honest, knowledgeable, straightforward man. Always has the client’s best interest first and foremost. Works extremely hard and diligently for the clients!! God bless him for helping me earn so much in just a few days. I will forever remain grateful and always invest in him.
We took our cats in for their annual exams and shots. Dr. West is very attentive and helpful and took time with them both to address their needs. The tech was excellent too, being very patient with the kitties and gentle when they got their shots. Highly recommend this practice.

I transferred to Burlingame Family Pet Hospital when my previous vet retired. I have a 4-year old cavalier and had 3 cats. The doctors and staff here are absolutely amazing. They are gentle, kind, helpful, and very thorough. My animals are part of my family, I want the best care I can get. I get that here.
Came here for urgent care after cat escaped and got into a fight. My little menace sustained bite wounds. My regular vet was unable to see my son so my wife brought him here. Now we are switching over altogether! Great vet. Same day appointment for urgent care. Efficiency at its best with amazing care.
