Veterinarians
Dr. Erin Burdette
Dr. Erin Burdette earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia and brings over a decade of experience in critical care to our team. After years in fast-paced emergency settings, she is excited to shift her focus to general practice, where she can build lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Throughout her career, Dr. Burdette has worked in both emergency and general practice medicine. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and preventive care.
She regularly attends conferences and pursues continuing education to stay up to date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Dr. Burdette truly values the importance of lifelong learning to ensure she can provide high-quality, evidence-based care to her patients.
Dr. Burdette’s passion for animals began in her early childhood. Growing up, she was influenced by her father, a veterinarian, and her mother who had a deep love for animals.
Outside of work, Dr. Burdette enjoys spending time with her family, walking, skiing, and exploring the Bay Area.
Dr. Rob West
Dr. Rob West was born and raised in Massachusetts and relocated to the Bay Area in 1990. He attended veterinary school at The University of California at Davis and graduated in 1998.
Dr. West has worked primarily in emergency and specialty hospitals and a few general practices over the years. Providing the highest-quality, compassionate, thoughtful care to all of his patients has always been his top priority.
He is an avid surfer and enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, and just about everything outdoors. He lives in Pacifica with his wife, Lindsey, and two children. Like every veterinary professional, he also has a crew of pets!
Dr. Dorothy Hoppe
Dr. Dorothy Hoppe was born in Poland and came to the US at the age of 9. She spent most of her life in Florida and began medical school there. After a year of medical school, she realized veterinary medicine was her true calling and resigned.
She graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and moved to the Bay Area for an internship at a specialty/emergency practice. Since then, she has worked in several areas of veterinary medicine, from general practice to emergency to shelter. She particularly enjoys surgery, ultrasound, urgent care, and the relationship with pets and their owners.
Dr. Hoppe lives in San Francisco with three cats and a crazy Cambodian dog. In her free time, she loves traveling, hiking with the crazy dog, SCUBA, reading, and working on DIY projects she rarely finishes.
Dr. Natasha Feier
Dr. Natasha Feier earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University, and has additional training from the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance Externship, and Rural Area Veterinary Services clinics in rural North Dakota.
Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Dr. Feier completed a master’s degree in neuroscience, focusing on chronic pain through neuroimaging. She worked in clinical research at the University of California San Francisco in pediatric hepatology, later joining a clinical trials startup, all while volunteering at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. Since then, she has worked as a veterinary assistant at community clinics to help break down barriers to veterinary care.
When she’s not providing care for her patients, she enjoys running, skiing, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She lives with her husband and their two miniature schnauzers, Oscar, a 7-year-old rescue from Mexico, and Winston, a 13-year-old Muttville alumnus.
