Due to COVID-19, Burlingame Family Pet Hospital is taking additional precautionary measures (per the recommendations of the CDC) within our hospital to keep our staff, doctors, patients, and their families safe while continuing to provide patient care.
Our primary goal is to stay healthy, keep others around us healthy and continue to provide service throughout the duration of this pandemic. To aid this, we have established a curbside drop-off procedure.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow adequate time for check-in.
Upon arrival, please wait in your car unless your pet is in need of immediate care. Please call us at 650-697-7234 and let us know your pet’s name, appointment time, and a brief description of your vehicle.
A staff member will meet you at your car to check you in. Please remember to:
- Stay in or close to your car, do not approach or crowd the entrance so our staff has room to work.
- Wear a mask or cloth covering your mouth and nose when talking to our staff.
- Keep 6ft apart from others when possible.
If you or have been in close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, or is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, chills, body ache, etc), please have another person who has not been exposed to bring your pet in for your appointment.
We have increased our sanitizing protocols in and around the hospital for client and staff safety. Rest assured, your pets are handled by staff members screened daily for symptoms of COVID-19.
